Special Event: Battle of the Books

  • What it is: A team-based reading competition similar to a spelling bee, but focused on comprehension and knowledge of 10 predetermined novels.

  • Timeline: Book list announced in November, with the competition held in March.

  • Who can participate: Students work in teams to demonstrate their understanding of the selected books.
